What we collect

The photographs you send, your name, your email address, and the note you write to the studio. Payment is handled by our card processor; we never see or store your card number.

We also keep the ordinary record of an order — what you bought, when, and what we sent back.

Your photographs

Originals and restored files are stored encrypted and are visible only to the restorer working on your order and the person who reviews it.

Thirty days after delivery, originals and working files are deleted. The finished file stays available on your order page for 90 days so you can download it again.

If your order included the Family Pack, we keep a copy of your finished files after those 90 days, so that losing a phone or a laptop does not cost you the photograph a second time. That is the safe-keeping you paid for. Write to us at any time and we will delete it, and we will confirm when it is gone.

The Family Pack also includes a private page you can send to your family. It is not listed anywhere and search engines are told not to index it, but anyone holding the link can open it, so send it only to people you mean to. Ask us and we will switch it off.

We never use your photographs as an example, on the site, or anywhere else, unless you write and say we may. We do not ask.

Email

We write when your order is received, when it is ready, and if we have a question about the original. If you ticked the previews-and-updates box, we also send occasional updates — unsubscribe anytime, one click, actually gone.

Website analytics and advertising

If you allow analytics and advertising in the privacy choices banner, Google Analytics measures visits and navigation, Microsoft Clarity provides masked heatmaps and session recordings, and Meta measures whether ads lead to actions such as starting an order, submitting a lead, or purchasing.

Uploaded photographs, form contents, payment details, and private order pages are not sent to these services. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy choices button on the site.

Who else is involved

A payment processor, an email delivery service, and a cloud host. Each sees only what it needs to do its job, and none may use your photographs for anything.

Your rights

Write to hello@tendermend.com to see what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted early. We act within seven days and do not ask why.
